| Product Reservation |
Cost: Included with installation or upgrade
When an item sells on eBay, the item is reserved from the shop inventory until the customer checks out.
Any item in the "Sales: Not Checked Out" screen is reserved. Although the item does not reduce the quantity available shown in the osCommerce admin, this item is actually reserved so that no one can purchase it from the shop. Once an eBay customer checks out, the sale is moved out of the "Sales: Not checked out" screen to the "Sales: Checked out" screen. At this point, an order is created, the item is removed from the inventory, and the reservation on the product is released.
The merchant can override this behavior and release any product reservation simply by moving the item out of the "Sales: Not Checked Out" screen to any other state such as Checked out or completed.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: If I add additional inventory to my shop, will eBay be updated to reflect the new inventory levels?
A: No, AuctionBlox does not modify listings to increase quantities within the current listing period. Future re-listings will reflect the actual quantity levels.
Q: What happens if a product goes out of stock for a listing was scheduled via AuctionBlox?
A: Both the current listing and future relistings are cancelled. Since AuctionBlox cannot know whether you wish to relist the item when future stock arrives, you will have to manually reschedule future listings.
